About Me

My name is Martha Rodriguez and I grew up on Lake Huron in Michigan but for the past 19 years have lived in Houston, Texas working as a chemical plant operator. I raised two daughters and now have the blessed opportunity to serve God full-time as a Mercy Ships volunteer in the Dining Hall, to serve those who serve. I have had a heart for serving the forgotten poor since I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Honduras in the early 1980's. I am humbled to serve a great organization such as Mercy Ships and look forward to experiencing God in new and challenging ways. I covet your prayers for my journey as this is what will sustain my spirits so far from family, you will be an integral part of my service with Mercy Ships.
